The SILKWAY project brings together 9 partners from 9 cities (Bukhara, Cadiz, Jalal-Abad, Osh, Puerto Real, Rome, Santa Marinella, Tashkent, Urgench) and 4 countries (Spain, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan), including representatives of the public sector (7 universities) and the private sector (2 private companies).
The University of Cadiz (Spain) is the project coordinator and features a dedicated center for cooperation with Central Asia — the International University Center for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (CUNEAC).
